These questions are common. AITI wants to make the process as easy as possible for everyone interested in becoming a Medical Assistant. Below is a quick run down on the admissions process, how to start, student life and graduation. All students must have a high school diploma or GED. We offer various options for prospects that do not have either of these.

Our next Medical Assistant in Tampa class on April 25th, 2016. Anyone interested in this class should contact admissions. The admissions process is simple. Once you have completed this admissions step you must meet with our finance representative. You can start your Medical Assistant classes with as little as $90.00 a month! With such an affordable Medical Assistant class and local here in Tampa we have limited space!

Enrollment should be done at least a few weeks before the start of class to ensure your seat in the class.

What do they do exactly?

Medical Assistants are a multi-skilled health professional specially trained to work in ambulatory settings, suh as a physicians office, clinics, and group practices. In this program students will learn to perform clinical functions as well as clerical and administrative rolls.

Our program is 53 weeks in duration, with two flexible schedules to choose from. Mornings are 9:00am to 1:30pm and our afternoon schedule is 5:30pm-9:30pm.

Our Medical Assistant program in Tampa is offered in both English and Spanish. Our placement rates for our 2014-2015 fiscal year was 100%!
