We offer two schedule to choose from. Students must be enrolled in either AM or PM and cannot be in both schedules at once. Both run Monday through Friday. The morning classes run from 9:00am to 1:30pm and the evening schedule runs from 5:30pm to 9:30pm.
Students must complete all required admissions documents prior to the start of the Nursing Assistant class. Financing must be arranged in the first week of class or before. There are no pre-requisites for this class however students must be 17 years of age or older to be enrolled.
All Nursing Assistant students must complete a 20 hour externship successfully. This externship is arranged by Aguilas and will be completed during the 7 weeks the student is enrolled here.
Students will also need to complete a CPR/First Aide course and have the option of doing the HIV/Aids and Bloodborne Pathogens Continuing education that we offer on the weekends.
Upon gradaution the student will receive a diploma and then MUST proceed to to their state licensure examination. All students are encouraged to apply for this exam two weeks prior to graduation since the process can take a few weeks. Prometric is the company that will be proctoring the CNA examination.
All students that graduate from our program are eligible to sit in for our 3 day intensive test prep to help them refresh before taking the state exam.
